    I never related to people who do worse things to their friends than they do to strangers. Something about feeling secure in forgiveness, I suppose.

    Some of my kids have worked at fast food places. On occasion they would get me “free” food, but it was only free for me; the kids paid for it. (They were allowed to use their employee discounts to buy the food for me.)
