I wonder who signed the photo of Astro. Was it one of the Hanna-Barbera animators or one of the voice artists.

Alternatively, since characters from other comic strips sometime appear in this strip, animated cartoon characters may be alive in this strip as they would be in “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?”. In that case, Astro really would have signed it.

I remember the days ordering something like a magic ring, and it was a piece of crap! ☺️☺️☺️☺️

Cracker Jack prizes at the bottom of the box!

Cereal toys at the bottom of the box!

    Them were the days!

Red take good care of that John Glenn photo. When you grow up it will be worth a good bit of money.

Rover take good care of the Astro photo, it will make you smile when you see it.

Somehow one of my dogs started getting credit card offers in the mail. Pre-approved offers. Don’t know how but they just started showing up. Maybe I should monitor his iPad usage. Yip yip yip yip yip Yes, he does use an iPad. He likes watching squirrels on youtube.

A long time ago (1984) in a cinema far far away I went to see “The Right Stuff” with some friends. One couple were really enthusiastic about John Glenn’s presidential campaign. Afterwards they asked one of the other people about their leanings (it was primary season) “Yeah”, he said, “I’m gonna write in Chuck Yeager.” John Glenn was the oldest real astronaut to go into orbit and he actually did some work for a few days while in the Shuttle.
