That’s it in a nutshell. If the believers – of whatever ilk – are correct, they will know about it. If we non-believers are correct, no one will ever know.
Many moons ago, I asked Jesus into my heart as My Personal Savior. I had NO IDEA at the time what had happened, just that all of s sudden the next day, this agnostic had an overwhelming desire to read the Bible for the first time in my life!
It wasn’t until almost a month later that I found out that I had been, as the Bible describes, Born Again, ie, the Holy Spirit came to indwell inside of me….almost like being possessed, except not like in the movies.
This is how I know that God is very real. And it has been a joyful ride ever since!
As an atheist, I’m not expecting an afterlife when I die. But if there is one, and I find myself in it, I’ll be happy to embrace it, and learn about it, and perhaps come to understand some of the mysteries of the universe.
Or if you believe in the wheel of Karma and Reincarnation, you may wind up right back here in another body. I pray for your sake it will be a human one.

Believers dislike disbelievers so much that they imagine afterlife punishments for them to make themselves feel better.

oh, I see. Atheists are brutish looking, butt-crack showing, arrogant dooshiebags

Being an atheist has nothing to do with the afterlife. All it means is that you don’t believe in a god.

When you die, you are just like ‘God,’ you won’t exist either.

A cartoon is an appropriate location for heaven, God, gods, angels, which are all imaginary.
