A 3 hour window is reasonable. I can remember back when you were expected to be home from 8-5. This was back before cell phones, so you didn’t dare even leave your house.
I worked in the industry (as a designer), but the stories the construction folks would tell. One retirement home, the vault where they had to install the cable was being used as a planter and it took most of a day getting all of the plants back in exactly the right spots and orientation. With a dozen seniors watching every move.
