    Hmm, what is the origin of those things?

    Saloon doors—batwing doors—were designed to allow for ventilation inside the saloon, and to a certain degree cover up the debauchery going on inside, so that it would not easily be seen from the street. https://www.google.com/search?q=saloon+swinging+door+origin

    A saloon ain’t a saloon without customers, either — but I’m guessing he still has some because he’s the only game in town. If I were there, I’d order my drinks to go, and then hightail it (hey, it’s a Western-themed comic, right?) back to my hotel room.
