Icelanders don’t really celebrate Halloween, although some people seem to be trying to import it. Our main candy season is Easter, mainly chocolate Easter eggs. They don’t go on sale after Easter. Instead, they’re sent back to the candy factory for “recycling” as chocolate bars.

Most stores around here only clearance the non-chocolate candy right after the holiday’s.
