The effect that the President has on the economy is almost always nil. The effect that Congress has on the economy is almost always tiny. Making any election about the economy is almost always a very bad idea, with regretful unintended consequences. T
Economies fluctuates all of the time—this inflation will pass. If we go for an authoritarian we will lose our democracy, and we will be stuck with whatever bad decisions the “great leader” makes. Poland has an authoritarian leader and their inflation rate in 17%. China has an authoritarian leader, and their whole country is tanking. And of course, Russia and North Korea have authoritarian leaders, and look where they are. Be careful who you vote for. If someone is all about overturning elections and installing a strong man, we are lost if they win.
Mark 8:36 and 37, Jesus put it this way, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”Chippie baby, ya done lost your soul.
The “economy” would have been a whole lot better with a bit of cooperation from the republicans.. the party of “NO”. And now, you think giving them the power will make it all better….. EEK
If one were advocating for a single party rule ad nauseam, one would try to deflect attention from the process being taken to destroy democracy. Inflation will pass. A dictator will not.
President Biden has decided to steer a hard road as he tries to get the money crazy public to look past their bank account and see the bigger picture of democracy. His task is much like mine every Sunday when I try to steer folks away from the easy response of hatred toward the harder response of love. I wish him luck. This president is a good man.

Mr. Bok thinks it is alright to use violence to overturn the 2020 election, to intimidate voters, and against political oppnents.

Because Baghdad Bok and his followers would gladly trade Democracy for the promise of a little cheaper gas and food.
Getting Democracy back would likely cost more than they would care to pay.

From my perspective, democracy is more important than the economy. I find it disturbing that people think otherwise.

Caused by Republicans idiots. Anyone who trades their freedom for security deserves neither freedom nor security.
