Our grandkids do this. The oldest granddaughter turns our kitchen into her lab, running back and forth between the pantry, the spice cabinet, and the stove. You’ve never seen so many pots and pans and sauces, noodles and whatnot strewn about. I’ve had to find a place to go, as she has no fear and grandmaw encourages it.

Another batch of cookies, you get a “Hug The Cook” apron. Yeah, it’s messy, but you must.

My grandson (age 8) likes to cook with me. Those will be special memories when I am gone.
