As a kid my budgie loved turkey and went nuts on Thanksgiving. My dad named him Dirty Turkey and it stuck. He even learned to say it.

(Actually it’s a real favorite of Meddick’s, when I searched “sick, twisted” to find this strip there were almost a dozen other “Monty” strips with Monty, Moondog and Pilsner saying things were “sick and twisted” all pretty funny too!)

My wife keeps a number of bird feeders full in order to attract song birds. They are attracted and the songbirds attract a cooper’s hawk that leaves little piles of feathers under the bird feeders. So Pilsner can just get off his high horse about birds being eaten.

I bought one of those hats for my eldest son. He loves weird, joke hats. He wears them to work, for laughs. :D
