If you try to protest a specific charge and not pay it, the phone company will start charging you a $5 late fee every month, even though you paid the rest of the bill. There should be a law protecting consumer rights to refuse payment of any charge w/o a penalty fee.

even with cwll phones, you can be charged for different things , if it isn’t part of your contract
