Long ago, I went for an interview for a teaching position at an Army post. I thought it was for teaching English, but during the interview, the person told me that I’d be teaching math part of the time as well. With my lousy math skills, there was no way I could teach that subject, and it was the only time I ever cut an interview short. I told the man that I’d be wasting his time and mine by continuing the interview because there was no way I could teach math. To this day, I can still see the look of surprise on his face.

Actually, eating 12 hot dogs is not that impressive….
