I hope mothers and women in general are no longer like that. Women in my mother’s generation (born in 1920) were so often raised to be martyrs and doormats. It was so sad and frustrating. She tried to pass it on to me, but I was never into it.

    Feel the love.

And what the hey—let’s toss in a classic (◔_◔) for good measure.

HI, MOM. Happy Sunday, “Cathy” Clan.

I agree with the (◔_◔) With my wife it is not the quality but the amount. “Here, you have the big piece while I take this scrawny little piece”. An I am the one that is trying to keep my weight down by eating less. Of course her Mom was the same – the world is not right unless everyone else but her was eating. I guess my wife comes by it honestly.

I hope everyone had a great weekend – since it is almost Monday now.

My husband is the martyr at our house. Just like you hendelca, I don’t WANT the big piece.
