Reminds me of a movie where they traveled back in time so want-to-be big game hunters can shoot a dying carnivorous dinosaur, one traveler accidentally kills a butterfly and the future changes. So much for our future poncho. Yip yip yip yip yip
The “Butterfly Effect” requires that everything line up just right to proceed down a path to the distant end. Chaos Theory shows that events tend to cluster around one or two or four “Strange Attractors”, which appears graphically as a “Butterfly Diagram.”
Chaos Theory disproves the Butterfly Effect (Ditto the "Infinite monkey thing). Sorry, Jurassic Park.

Don’t try this with Monarch Butterflies, they evolved to taste terrible so preditors won’t eat them at least not more than once.

Removing that one butterfly and thereby eliminating the flapping its wings could have similar consequences.

So the backdrop for this location is in Australia, Southwest Asia, or the islands between them? Yip yip yip yip yip

The trick is, which butterfly and which hurricane. and the butterfly could just as easily prevent the hurricane.

Chaos Butterfly! NOOOOOOO! Ruben Bolling is already down the Ghost of James Caan! We can’t lose this character too!

Maybe it’s the other way around? Maybe the hurricanes in Florida are what makes a butterfly flap their wings?

Another classic.
