Or in 2023 dollars, $100,101.38… Talked to my SIL as to why he leases his vehicles – he said he doesn’t worry about breakdowns as everything is under warranty – changes vehicles every 5 years when the warranty is up…

My sister leases, but I do not. This year, I just sold my 11 year old SUV with 130k miles that has never caused me any issues at all. I’ve just had to pay for regular maintenance and tires. I sold it for $9,000, which I think is a decent price. It was a fantastic car, reliable, comfortable, fun to drive. Meanwhile, my sister has to pay if she goes over her mileage limit and she has nothing when her lease is up. However she has driven some fancy cars that make her happy and she gets a new one every so often. Imo, find a quality car and it is worth buying it.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Monday! Have a great day, all!

I have seen some very nice cars outside of some very crummy houses and apartments.

I drive a 25-year-old Camry. It does everything a car should do and does not attract avaricious women. :)

Going on nine years for my Hyundai Elantra. Now that it is paid for, I plan to drive it until the wheels fall off!
