You should have seen my mother react 10 years ago when I told her how much dry cleaning one dress cost me.

My car was $20,000 last year, my parents house cost $17,000 in the 1960s and they needed a 25 year mortgage to buy it.

Lock yourself in the house… it’s cheaper. While it makes sense that the value of things goes up over time, the amount in the past few years is crazy. And the cost of college so that you can get a good job to pay for it is out of control. Something needs to change and/or administrators/CEO salaries need to be investigated.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! Have a great day, all!

The more you make the more the stuff you want costs.

I walk by a small parking lot every day and actually looked at their parking rate yesterday. It’s a flat rate of $28; you pay when you enter. All cars have to be out by a certain time in the evening; no overnight parking.

One of my friends just told me that some hotels are charging for parking even though you are staying in one of their rooms.

$20,00 for a new car? You can tell this is an old strip. I don’t think you can even get a decent motorcycle for that.

I’m shocked that you can still get a car for that. Of course, I still have my 2012 Buick, so I haven’t been looking at new cars that much.
