I don’t think you’ll want to borrow that aspirin, mister. You will want to own that. ;-) Anytime someone starts off a rant with “this country’s going down the drain…”, I usually tune them out. Make your point without claiming an entire country is going to collapse due to some people doing stuff. I’m sure one of the biggest countries in the world will survive some car leasing. But other than that, I do enjoy a good thrashing of an obnoxious car salesmen, so keep going, Mom! :-D

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Friday! Have a great day, all!

I’ve never heard anyone speak positively about a leased car, and yet they still “sell”? There must be some advantage.

Leases are a good deal for businesses. However, I read somewhere that car leases for individuals are specifically designed for people who are bad at math.

The country (pick your favourite one) may be going down the drain but I doubt it because of people not owning things. I think it is because people don’t respect other people or their possessions. Friday (the main character in Heinlein’s book with that title) stated the sign of the collapse of civilization is when people stop being polite to one another. Hmm – scary!!!

Have a great rest of Friday and a fantastic weekend – and please be polite to others.

I kinda see Cathy’s mom’s point on this one, but as usual, she takes things to the eye-rolling extreme.

HI, MOM. Happy Late Friday, Clan.
