My style for all three of those has been T-shirt and jeans. I dress for comfort.

Neither of the first two are elegant outdoorsy at any age. The third option seems timeless and doesn’t broadcast an age. I won’t even mention the sexist size comment. I give today’s strip 3 eyerolls out of 5.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Thursday! Have a great day, all!

Blue jeans. Flannel or cotton long sleeve shirt, sleeves rolled up. Old combat boots. That’s me. Dressed for a country wedding. Gimme a beer.

I think Cathy looked pretty good in that third outfit

It’s tough when fashion is heading toward “slutty” but your body is heading toward “voyeur”. :)

My vote is for #3 at any age. Not sure if the first two outfits qualify as elegant at all. Of course I may have thought differently 50 years ago.

Thank you for all the good wishes. It seems they have really helped me (although the Paxlovid may have helped a little). I am feeling pretty good today and the +ve test line is so faint it can hardly be seen indicating that it might not be too much longer before I can get close to my wife – who continues to test -ve (and that is good). I am just glad this happened so long after her hip replacement as it would not have been easy to help her out as much as I did in the first few weeks. She is quite capable of looking after herself now – even being able to pick stuff off the floor (that was my main job). All in all it is a good day today. I hope yours is good too.

In what crazy universe would a sequined bra, a lace bustier and motorcycle boots ever be considered “elegant”?!? Go with outfit #3, Cathy. That’s what I’d do because it looks really nice and would be very comfortable for an “outdoorsy” wedding this time of year. Just throw a lightweight sweater in the car in case it gets cooler later and you’re good to go.

FYI, Cathy: There’s no shame in dressing appropriately for your age. You’re not supposed to dress like a teenager when you no longer ARE one. That just screams immaturity and the fact that you live in a really DEEP state of denial regarding the woman you are today. No. The shame comes from (or at least should come from, anyhow) dressing INappropriately for your age (and body weight) ….. as evidenced in SO many ways when it comes to outfit #1! :-P

    Hi, rgcviper! :-)

hendelca: Glad to hear that you’re feeling so much better today! ♥

karlykru: While I wasn’t here to wish your youngest “Guardian Angel” a happy, heavenly 55th birthday yesterday, I still thought about her. And you. Love and hugs, Sis! (⊃。•́‿•̀。)⊃

Hello and Happy Thursday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Hope you all had a really nice day today! :-)

Cathy looks best (and youngest) in the 3rd outfit. Trashy clothes never look good at any age.

How style changes over time. Good thing our [eye-rolls] don’t, huh?

    HI, MOM. Hello, Clan.
