I think that Cathy should keep that top in panel 1. Whenever the 60’s fashions come back in style she will have something to wear without having to buy anything. Like that is going to ever happen.
This has been a rather disappointing week. We have had the most powerful aurora (northern or southern lights depending on where you live) in decades – and we have had a solid week of overcast skies. Ah well, that is the story of my life.
This is where Cathy went monumentally wrong. We all know that she’s a shopaholic as well as a hoarder so when she was finally ready to go through, organize, and purge at least some of her belongings, the absolute LAST thing in the world she should have done was sought the help of her mother, who’s just as bad — if not worse — at “collecting” things as she is. I give Cathy huge “props” for trying, but she’s weak-willed and allows Anne to have way too much influence over her life ….. which is why there’s been no progress despite weeks worth of work. It’s really hard to get rid of anything when someone with that much power over you gives you what seems like a million reasons as to why you can’t. For her own sake, she needs to show Anne the door and either tackle this project by herself, ask a more “ruthless” friend for their help, or, if all else fails, hire the services of a professional organizer because this is a really big job to do and at the rate these two are going, it’s N-E-V-E-R going to get done.
