Our living room looks like Cathy’s mom’s kitchen. Of course up to a half hour ago so did our kitchen and dining room. Something about 6 adults, a 7 month old grandson, and two dogs sharing the house makes it impossible to keep any room neat – but then we don’t even try.

I remember having a kitchen table. Everyone gathered around it, family and guests. I really miss kitchen tables.

Yup—I can relate to the holiday chaos that often ensues. Things weren’t too crazy here, though I wouldn’t call them boring. A good thing?
