You guys are pathetic! It’s an oyster. An oyster! You don’t need to sneak up on it in fear, it’s can’t run away and it can’t hurt you.

Tabasco on oysters? Never tried that.

It is extremely stupid to put tabasco on an oyster. The point of an oyster is its rich flavor that can be quite complex with subtle notes when they are good. If you put tabasco you absolutely kill the taste. It’s like buying a fine bottle of wine and adding coke or juice in it when you drink it.

Listen to me and I’m sure you’ll agree the bravest man in history was neither a soldier nor champion of law but the first to eat an oyster raw. (Wiley, in BC, a long time ago)

Clams, yes! Oysters…yuk! Gag me!

Tabasco and lemon juice “cook” the risk out of raw ones. The only one that ever made me sick was the one I did NOT put sauce & lemon on.

That oyster looks less than appetizing.

Tabasco tastes like crap. They don’t age the peppers, they let them rot. If you want a good tasting pepper sauce, get Frank’s Original.
