lessen the chances of seeing BBQ sauce, mole sauce, or marinara sauce spilt onto your shirt, huh?

Yes, because the plugger has a fear of “flying sauces”.

Never eat spaghetti in a white shirt. (Why it was in my shirt I don’t know…apologies to G. Marx)

Nice to see Carl Rhinowski. He has aged since “Pluggers: Calm in the Face of Disaster”.

I change into my “formal” black go-to-dinner tee shirt. You know, the one that doesn’t have holes or paint on it.

This Plugger generally wears something that can be bleached. As sure as the sun rises and sets, I’ll get something on my shirt.

A white shirt will attract everything but money!

These are restaurants where Pluggers throw etiquette to the wind and tuck their napkin into the neckline of their shirt.

Or, in his case, when he goes to barbecue, Mexican, AND Italitan restaurants, all in sequence.

Nope. I just wear one of my many “eating shirts.” The old stains camouflage the new ones.

Tie-Dyes are very handy for this as well.

White shirts are tomato sauce magnets. It might be that my protruding gut provides the perfect landing zone.

I usually make sure the restaurant is our last stop before home, or bring a second shirt.

Don’t wear a dark shirt if you’re going to eat Alfredo.

No, no, no! Bright multicoloured patterns are best for hiding stains!

Dark plaids are best in my opinion, and I do a lot of field testing of this particular issue.

my dad used to ‘color coordinate’ his shirts. If going out for breakfast he’d wear a yellow one because he knew he’d be having eggs. If Italian food then a red shirt was put on.
