    When I’m out in a wooded area in a New England winter, I’m pretty sure it’s not an alligator in that frozen stream. Otherwise, I’m very cautious.

    We do have bears around here, but hopefully they’re all hibernating by now.

    We have big alligators in Florida. No mistaking them for logs. They would let you know before you knew it. Chomp!

    If you can see an alligator, he’s probably hunting you. If you can’t see an alligator, he’s definitely hunting you.
