As I’ve said before, Zeke and Reuben sometimes remind me of Jock and Trusty from Lady and the Tramp.

Today’s strip reminds me of the Christmas scene at the end of Lady and the Tramp where Jim Dear looks out of the window and announces Jock and Trusty’s arrival by saying “It’s Jock – and good ol’ Trusty.” We were all relieved that Trusty was still alive after seeing him lying unconscious under a wagon wheel in the previous scene.

It’s a good thing that Rover didn’t run from the other direction and get his face buried in a butt.

That’s some welcoming committee!

I get the feeling Rover is glad to see them, lol!

Zeke gets the defy gravity award! Ha . Would love to see more of them. A lot great material there!
