I have read that toilets sold in Mexico are still full volume flush, and that Americans cross the border to buy them for their homes in the US.

Yes I hate those water conserving toilets that make you have to flush 2 or 3 times when you drop a big load! Who really saves when you have to flush a 3 gallon tank two times while the old 5 gallon tanks only needed to be flushed once?

Like the 1.5 gallon flush models that you have to flush twice to get everything down. That’s saves SO much water over the two gallon flush models.

Must not be a low flow… With low flow toilets you have to flush five or six times to clean the bowl!!! Kinda defeats the purpose…

Where’s the joke? This is the reality. The bureaucrats are in control, and there is nothing or nobody more irate than a bureaucrat scorned.

A thrift store in the area specializes in building materials. Someone driving a pickup with several toilets in the bed was told they couldn’t be accepted. To be accepted, they required a toilet be labeled “1.4 gallons per flush” (or less).
