I don’t know why, but I love the close up on Marigold’s face in the third panel.

And humans don’t have pockets that big.

Challenge accepted! Don’t tell Marigold but I’m going to try making something that looks just like her.

A consideration earth ponies and pegasus/pegasi I imagine know.

Sorry Marigold, but any living thing with that much conceit is inferior to everything. Beauty is FAR MORE than skin deep.

Panels 2-3: That’s just a little bit on the “vain” side..

Then unicorns go about this all wrong. I don’t love my gifts more than I love myself, but I still welcome them. At worst, they serve as a token of appreciation.

One of these days Dana is going to draw Marigold so her forelock isn’t always on the other side of her horn.

I keep worrying that Marigold is going to trip on that scarf and become a Unicorn version of Isadora.

Wouldn’t she be offended if the gift were superior to her?
