Shake hands with the King? Seems a little too democratic for the fink.

But you can always lick your fingers later, for a quick snack.

Can’t believe people are lining up to shake hands with the fink.

I recently posted the first verse of a parody of “What A Wonderful World” on The Wizard of Id and later on The Wizard of Id Classics. Today’s strip with the Fink shaking hands has helped me to complete the parody:

I see a king who is mean,

Big noses too,

They tell good jokes,

For me and you,

But the Fink doesn’t think,

“What a wonderful world!”

I see the colours of the rainbow,

The dragons in the sky,

The smiles on all the faces,

Of damsels passing by,

But the Fink doesn’t think,

“What a wonderful world!”

I see the Fink shaking hands,

Saying “How do you do?”

The Fink is really thinking,

“I’ll get you!”

For the Fink doesn’t think,

“What a wonderful world!”

Seems to be a lot of left arms missing here. And Finks Right Arm…

Are you sure he didn’t have short ribs?

So you may have to wash but at least your hand will be clean.
