If you can’t take a hint, Calvin, then why should we take one from you?

Dad could at least make a backyard rink for the kid. I did for years

Around here, you know it’s winter when the garage freezer starts to form so much frost that it forces the lid open…

Come on bad if you’re really loved the boy

I think he wants a job at the ski hill.

Snow looks nice, Calvin. Until one has to shovel/plow it.

Ether Dad’s sweater has to go or that chair does. They clash too much.

Like the shirt. He looks like he’s ready for clown makeup.

I’ll bet the resorts have job openings ….

Clearly, Calvin is ignorant of the upstate New York lake effect. Shout out to Buffalo and Watertown!

I hate being hinted at. My girls learned that at a young age.

Besides, going without snow builds character…

What’s more, waiting will Build Character.

It’s called a Xmas list, kiddo.

You’d better ask Dad to buy you a lake, because those things are useless unless you have a big body of water close by for them to draw from.

It was worth a try. Maybe Dad didn’t think of it.

A friend of mine in Wisconsin said they used the water the street, wait for it to freeze and go skating.

I’m sure the next dad poll amoung household children will drop in the rankings.

The Conklin family had/has a summer home in Grey County Ontario and for a while after it was made a year round home the old man bought a used snow machine to make snow on the kids toboggan slide on the side of the hill the home is on.

that sweater makes it look like he has the tree skirt around his neck!

Calvin actually wants to build a snow fort in order to fight the abominable snow man… He is very clever.

And we something wonder why some people never reach maturity

Maybe Dad would do something if Calvin didn’t have such an obnoxious, self centered attitude.

A machine like that could be useful for me and my family’s front and backyards at Christmastime!

Our family was outside a recreational ice rink on a cool spring or fall day and they had piled ice shavings on the plaza outside. For some reason their normal ice melting techniques weren’t working. Calvin, all you need is a fake ID and a rental truck.

I suspect that our charming lad thinks that with a snow machine, Dad could create a snow-day off from school.

Come on, Calvin, you are smart enough to figure out how to make one – just use a hose with the sprayer set on mist, then blow it through a fan, and assuming it’s cold enough, you’ll get something like snow.

Relax, Calvin, we know there will come a time when there will be more than enough snow for your snow monsters and sculptures.
