From the look how Brutus is dressed, it must be pretty cold outside, sooo Brutus wins today. Have a cup of hot cocoa in celebration.

This year I actually put my lights up 2 weeks before Thanksgiving, but I didn’t turn them on until after. Gave me a false sense of accomplishment, but I’ll take it.

Are you sure that wasn’t the neighbour’s house?

That must be some real dim, unobservant wife, who never noticed that the Christmas lights had been left up on the house from the months of January through November! Anybody know where you can find another wife like that for me?

hopefully they haven’t been on all year… or, well, plugged in. cause that might be why he is so poor… one of many I’m sure anyways… :|

    Merely a serendipitous oversight.

Only Brutus Thornapple can take an act of supreme procrastination and see it as a positive.

Blame it on the HOA for not nagging you to take the lights down.

Great Brutus, now you can spend the rest of the day chasing down all the bad bulbs. Hope those lights are newer strings and not the old series type lights that will only light up when you find the bad bulb.

I wonder if he left the leg lamp in the window since last January or did Mother Gargoyle break it?

    i didn’t put up the lights i didn’t put up last year…

we smiled to see the colored lights in the shape (sort of) of a christmas tree go up in the window of our local body shop down the street, operated by our landlord, around the end of october. his girl friday has more enthusiasm than talent, but it’s the thought that counts, right…?

Smart move, Brutus, even if it was unintentional. But I wonder how Gladys let you get away with it all year.
