We buy goods all year that we want. Some, that are not needed immediately go under the bed to be wrapped for Christmas. I bought a lighted magnifier last year because my current one was failing and it was a gift last year. Well, the old one is still hanging in there and I found the new one and I shall receive it again this year. A small tag of Christmas wrap stuck to the bottom tells the tale. ;-)
My birthday is only a few days after Christmas, frequently I get one gift marked “Merry Christmas and happy birthday”. I always felt short changed in that everyone else got two gifts while I only got one. Thanks anyway, but if it’s the thought that counts, you blew it.
