uh oh … run Adam … he’s a hypnotist!

I used to stock shelves at night in a grocery store. The music was left on all night – in December it became torture.

I listen to Christmas music a lot on my own accord… but maybe it’s different being contained and listening to the same few Christmas songs or something.

I can’t stand it!! I hear it as I enter a big store, get what I came for, and get the hell out!!!

I wear earbuds into the store this time of year…

There are “peaceful Christmas” instrumental music playlists on Spotify that I like but I can’t stand the stuff played in most stores and cafes, especially the stuff sung by pop singers (and I’m not that old!)

As I get older I find I’m starting to like hearing the music again. Brings back memories of good things in my life from long, long ago that are long, long gone.

Shouldn’t he be saying, “Ho, Ho, Ho” ?

Last year, I was filling in at an office where one gal had her radio tuned to an All-Christmas station. After hearing Jingle Bell Rock five times in one day made it lost its charm.

Andre’s pinwheeling eyes should stabilize around the first of the year. Of course, by then, he’ll probably need all new prescriptions.

Winco does not have background music at all. I think being employee-owned might have something to do with it.

In the news,I heard about employees wanting to “get away from” hearing Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You”

This illustrates how culture changes over time. Even if it drags me kicking and screaming!

My hearing isn’t what it used to be and I can barely hear the music at work

Most of the time I wish I could hear the music, its ok that I can’t hear the Christmas music

My coworkers probably don’t mind that I can’t hear either, I do tend to sing along

DTWFNC is the only thing that makes Adam’s eyes pinwheel. But, of course, he then has to go find them after they’ve popped out…

If I was Adam I think I would get rid of that drink after seeing the baristas eyes pinwheeling like that.

Easy. He listens to Christmas music all day. It makes one a little loopy. Sort of like that Menards tune that goes off every 10 minutes in the store. uuugghhh!

I imagine that would be a hazard of the job, I get tired of it before I even leave the store. Another reason I’m glad I shop on-line.

I went to a wedding where they played nothing but Christmas music at the behest of the bride who loved everything Christmas. The wedding took place in July.

My mom used to work retail and Christmas music didn’t bother her too much as the store played a wide variety. The year of an Olympics where they played the Olympic theme and only that on constant replay drove her nuts.

I’m 7 years out of retail and I still suffer Christmas music PTSD. I now work in daycare and my boss says I’m a killjoy because I refuse to put on any Christmas music for the kids. The instant retail flashbacks are too horrible for words.
