We have something that is … not at all like this. A local crop duster uses helicopters, and they have a lighted Santa, sleigh and reindeer contraption that they suspend under one of their birds and fly all around the valley on Christmas Eve night.

Santa needs to cut down on the coffin nails.

And all the boxes are filled with twinkies.

You might get what you want but not (delivered) in the way you wanted it.

I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Just a couple of blocks from where I lived, there was a Sears store, and every year, Santa landed in a helicopter on their parking lot. Even long after I had stopped believing in Santa Clause, I always went to watch him land. I went more to see the helicopter than Santa.

Santa seems to have really upgraded this year. Either that, or he has a delivery staff.

When I worked for NORAD we would get flight plan updates about a small aircraft from the north pole. These came over the teletype machine (?) so someone could take them home to their kids.

Shouldn’t that chopper be painted brown with a smilish swoosh on the side?

This is my husband’s exaggerated view of how much I order from Amazon. Not being in a big metropolitan area, there are lots of ordinary things I use but can’t find locally (i.e., lots of fragrance-free items), and that makes up the bulk of my Amazon packages.

Yup, that’s definitely Santa’s logo.

Lighten up Verne, at least you didn’t get hit by the cow,…yet…
