My mom would do that occasionally and the next july I’d find a box in the back of a closet or under a bed and go “what’s this?” and mom would say, “Oh! that’s where that got to.” …and then explain. Kinda exciting actually.
Ask her, she’s probably found them already.
He should ask her! I would bet she knows!
