Reminiscent of a science fiction short story (might have been by Asimov, but I’m not sure) where a scientist invents a time machine that brings William Shakespeare to the present. The twist at the end is that Shakespeare is returned to his own time, having suffered the embarrassment of flunking a class in — what else? — Shakespeare.
