I work from home and teach a class over Zoom, and at this time of year (and also when a class is wrapping up), I tell my students that we can have a virtual party, but that they’ll have to provide their own food and drink. It is one of the very few things I miss about not working onsite for nearly three years; those parties used to be fun, and the students loved to cook and bring in their favorite dishes.
