My black cat enjoys watching the antics of the black squirrels in our tall maple. Apparently, they see him as the alpha of the family and allow him to watch from the lower outside steps while they feast on nuts & grain on the walkway. Occasionally, he’ll chase them for fun. Recently, I discovered Jasper has learned to hang (back feet secured to his tower perch) and stretch like the squirrels do from a branch!

At least Peekaboo, you are warm and dry. And you don’t have to dig in frozen ground for food that you hid like the squirrel does.
