Just loved ,and still do, all of the Christmas specials. They were pretty new then. Great childhood memories.

“A Charlie Brown Christmas Special” first appeared in 1965. I first watched it in 1976 when I was about ten years and one week in age. I am now aged fifty-six years and six days.

We need a double feature…Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol, anyone?

Don’t be a blockhead, Red! Enjoy the ending and re-watch it next year.

I am old enough to have seen the first broadcast of “A Charlie Brown Christmas”.It left such an impact on me that I have “Charlie Brown Christmas”-themed decorations throughout my home.

Rover is full of Christmas Joy… ;-)

Ah yes Red, I can relate, even though we know what the ending will be, as a child we always wished the tree would fall over and break Charlie Browns leg, the rest of the gang would rush Charlie Brown to Hospital were in the end, the cute little redheaded girl would come to see Charlie Brown.

We didn’t care about Charlie Brown’s romance, we just wanted the extra half hour of tv time such a scenario would have given us.

Mom, dad, there’s no school tomorrow, I need to practice staying awake to see if there is a real Santa. Yip yip yip yip yip

There is that.

On the bright side, Red …… when it’s bed time you’ll have Rover come and keep you company …… :)

Hallmark has been running Christmas movies since September; it really turns one off about Christmas.

I never saw the Charlie Brown Christmas movie. I haven’t actually seen very many holiday movies at all, and once was enough when I had a choice.

Red has a point there. Still, this show is always available. I even have the soundtrack. Vince Guaraldi (the composer) was a genius! ❤️

It’s a shame that 99% or the classic Christmas shows are now, PPV. SMH…
