Chas, I think Poncho understands very well the “spirit it’s intended.”

when the cats heard about a gift-hack, they took it literally!

They meant well. The fact is you’ve tried getting rid of them multiple times, and they still gave you a hairball and didn’t mean it as a joke. Take it as a win.

Hey, at least it’s not a dead animal. That’s usually their favorite gift.
