Reminds me of the legend on why we put angels on trees. God was decorating heaven and needed a tree. So he sends an angel down to find a tree. Several weeks went by and finally, late on Christmas Eve, the angel returns with the ugliest, skimpiest, last in the lot tree. The angels asks God, “I got the tree, where do you want me to put it?” So God told him where to put it. Since then, we put angels on top of trees. Bob Rivers later put this to song.
