I like how the fireworks around here stop at about 12:30 am. As opposed to July 4. You never know when they’ll stop then, or start for that matter.

Along about the age of 60, I ceased feeling like I had to do something on New Year’s Eve.
You don’t have to twist Monty’s arm too much, or even touch it at all.
It just passes I don’t even watch the countdowns anymore.
I used to say it’s better than no holiday at all, but with fireworks and car wrecks, I’m not so sure.
