Since we’re doing work in lieu of them hiring enough employees to do it, I’ve always thought that if you use self-checkout, you should get a discount. One of the pizza companies has been advertising something like that lately — getting a $3 “tip” toward your next order, if you pick up your pizza instead of having it delivered. Maybe other businesses should take note.

That is weird. Those in self check out, are in a hurry to check and out and on to the next stop, not chit chat and lunch together.

It’s not that you do the work employees should be doing, it’s the companies not wanting to hire more employees.
