We got a bit of rain last night. Just enough to dampen things a bit, but nice after the low humidity around here. We didn’t make it to 67 yesterday due to the overcast and wind. Today’s predicted high is 62 with 73% humidity. It is mostly sunny outside with some clouds in the distance. Hopefully they will stay there.
I had to laugh this morning. The HOA board got a letter from a homeowner who doesn’t like the new paint color because it doesn’t match the crushed rock landscaping. That makes 3 folks out of 162 units who don’t like the new colors. And where was she when we were asking all residents to help choose?
We watched the video yesterday about how to repair Michael’s clock, while we followed it with our own motor. Sure enough the problem was one of the gears that after 43 years just disintegrated. Everything else turns freely so nothing is frozen. We ordered the new gears and will put it back together when they arrive. Once it’s done, I’ll take a photo and use it as an avatar so you can see it.
It was my day to go open up the pool at 7 and my wonderful husband did it for me. He wanted to spend some time in the hot tub so he took the key and opened up for the day. I got to go back to sleep for a little while.

The morning temp was 19 degrees. Light snow showers today, high 30.
The same old, same old today. But, of course there is that old curse, “May you live in interesting times.” Maybe the same old, same old ain’t so bad.
