I wish Go Comics would stop trying to modernize these classic comic strips. Would also be great if they published the date when the strip was originally published! Mutt and Jeff was publishing new strips between 1907 and 1981. So there is NO WAY Jeff ever worried about paying his income tax in 2006!
Must have changed that date . Back say in the 1930s one could live on $1560 a year, but not in 2006. Even in 1955 Ralph Kramden supported himself and his wife on $3100 per year. So if you change the date better also change the income.
