Speaking as a retired law enforcement officer, the majority of calls supposedly made from the Fraternal Order of Police are a scam. I strongly recommend anyone receiving such a call not give the caller a credit card number, agree to send gift or money cards, etc. Please check with local law enforcement offices if there are any questions.
