In philosophy “modern” means everything since about 1600. Not to be confused with modern anything-else.

When I googled German philosophers, the top thing it showed was Philosophers/Germany with pictures and names and dates of 9 German philosophers that could be expanded with 42 more for a total of 51. I was surprised to not see Nietzsche included there. (Does that mean he is considered in a class of his own?)

I Kant accept that conclusion.

Old schoolyard rhyme…

(I thought back then that Ogden Nash wrote it but I can’t find a reference so probably not.)

Man’s wisdom is foolishness to God. That is MY philosophy. :) :)

They say Nietzsche never sat down much while he worked, stands to reason.

Some people like him and some people don’t…oh well, to Nietzsche his own.
