The bane of the Left, cattle flatulence, is caused by vegetable matter composting in the intestines. I’d say vegan/vegetarians are in the same category as cattle.
You may think that Betty is unkind but as I see it, you can try to change your eating habits now or wait until you have to after a life threatening incident. I changed my lifestyle about 10 years ago. My taste buds adapted, my body had/has about 85% less pain and the onset of gallbladder ‘Biliary dyskinesia’. When I started to eat more food with fat in it I soon had to have it removed and now I’m forced to eat mostly vegetables and low fat, gluten free, no nightshade veg, chocolate, sugar … it’s a long list. That said, the new mechanically engineered, vegetable based food has more fat than the non vegan choices.

I have had little experience with vegan food. Vegetarian is OK as long as it’s not trying to taste like meat.

Bub is a meat and potatoes man. A meal with only potatoes (or other vegetables) is only part of a meal.
