I’ve had supervisors who loved to schedule meetings right at quitting time. Since we were all salaried and most of us came in early anyway, we weren’t exactly thrilled. Especially when most of the meetings could have been handled via an email. After I retired I came back as a hourly contract worker and informed him that this would now be paid overtime. At $150/hr they excused me from any meetings.

That is like leaving the UBER car in the garage until next month when we will have budget money for tires and an oil change.

We always had out meetings after lunch, when everybody is stuffed and looking to take a nap.
