Avocado was the big thing in the 70s dudes.

love the devo hats.

I can dig it man.

To match their uniforms apparently.

In the 70s, we just didn’t care.

Along with Harvest Gold and Coppertone. I still have some Harvest Gold Tupperware.

Better that than Devo hats.

Required chemistry course for my college aero degree. Lecture class. Talked about Avacado’s number or something. Dunno. Slept a lot.

I love they wear Devo hats in the future!

Wake up some of the corpsicles from that time still in cryogenic sleep, and ask them.

Yet you’ve evolved to DEVO plant pot hats? Same era?

We all think that the current trends are ‘the cats pajamas’ then laugh about them 20-30 years later. Man bun, anyone?

The house we moved into in KY (in the early ’90s) was built in the ’70s. It has three bathrooms, one was all green, one gold, and one brown. Orange shag carpet in the living area.

I had avocado appliances when I got married for the first time in 1972.

Ew ew ew ! I lived through those horrible times….colors were awful…green appliances, , orange shag, someone please shoot me…..‼️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

The fridge died long ago, but the stove still works. Now if I could just find a knob that fits.

There might still be spritz cookies in that cookie jar.

Would they prefer Puce?

And those orange fibers around it are from the hideous shag carpeting everyone had, and one of three couch patterns that everyone had.

The avocado fridge in our vacation cabin limped along until just recently. The avacado range was still going strong when we decided to redecorate the whole kitchen.
