It’s not “shorts time,” kiddies.

It’s “I’m cutting your allowance,” time.

Brad, go put on your jeans and do yard work for all week, and Luann go put on your pants and do all the housework for your mom for the week.

Didn’t want to scare the neighbours….

Shorts are pants too. They’re short pants.

Pretty much why I don’t wear shorts at age 71.

When I put on shorts for the first couple of times in a summer I tell people to cover their eyes because I’ve got a new pair of legs.

Cargo pants are much more stylish. No doubt the brats would find something to laugh at there too

Don’t remember ever wearing shorts (except for P.E. when a kid). Spent a lot of time on my grandparents’ farm growing up. Wanted as much covering for my body as I could for protection. Still do.

Yup. Goes part way to explaining why I’ve never worn shorts since I was about five years old!
