It is all of 3 degrees outside this morning, it’s clear, sun shinning on the ridge and I can see a pink windmill. The day’s high is expected to be 27. Like being in the tropics.
Not doing much today, this-is-a-recording, What can I say.
Have a good day Vagabonds, may the Lord bless your day.
Yesterday’s weather turned out to be very eclectic. Sunshine first thing, clouds for a while, then the cold wind picked up and blew in a thunderstorm. We had pouring rain for a while, with more cold wind and finally everything calmed down and the skies are blue again this morning. Yesterday only got up to 57, but I’m sure there was a wind chill factor. We’re looking at a high of 54 to day and it’s 41 at the moment.
I didn’t wear a jacket when I went to prayer group yesterday because it was almost 60 and I wasn’t cold. By the time I got to the other side of town, that cold wind was strong enough to make my car rock. I keep a heavy sweater in the car and I think this was the first time I’ve worn it in a year.
Then I took Michael to his doctor appointment that afternoon in the same area as the church. At least this time I wore a jacket.
The plan for today is to meet another HVAC guy this morning for a quote on our clubhouse air conditioner and then more “crafting” of one sort or another. I finally finished that series of 10 books, so I’m not so deep into reading.
It has been a busy two days for me. Yesterday the family came over for dinner, but I had my grandson and his roommate come over early so they could make some guacamole and pico de Gallo. It was a good thing they came early! It felt like we had one pressure front after another come through and they moved slowly, they leave me feeling lethargic. So we made the condiments while I had a whole chicken in the instant pot cooking for enchiladas. They fixed the whole meal with me directing. And we all had fun, during the down times we played Yahtzee and Uno. I hope they are up to doing it again soon.
Today was all the normal Wednesday stuff, Walmart in the morning and laundry this afternoon.
The last couple of days have been sunny and warm with the highs in the upper 50’s. That all changes tomorrow with our high being in the morning in the low 40’s and spiralling down to below freezing. The weather change is supposed to bring some snow and possibly some ice.
