    Howdy Vagabonds

Nice warm morning at 20 degrees, cloudy, flurries and a high of 24. Back in the tropics.

I could have made the run to Newport yesterday but I’ll do it today. The Polar Bear and I make pretty good pair in the snow.

My day is planed, may all y’all Vagabonds have a blessed day with God by your side.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

I’m off to a Ladies to Ladies meeting at the church later this morning. It will be more or less a planning meeting for the rest of the year, but I always enjoy getting together with the group. We have a potluck lunch and we have a bunch of great cooks! In the past, we’ve done some cool stuff like a talent show, a craft demonstration, a swap meet and a “silly” fashion show. That last was done while we were travelling in the RV, and if they choose to do it again, I plan to wear my Ren Faire costume, complete with a furred and feathered dragon on my shoulder and a pewter dragon topped walking stick.

Michael and Mike are heading to State Line (aka Primm) to meet up with one of Mike’s childhood friends from California. He’s into using flavored chewing tobacco and California has recently passed a law outlawing flavored tobacco products or even vape liquids. There are a lot of Californians who are coming to Nevada to buy flavored tobacco and vapes these days. Even “regular” cigarettes are a lot cheaper here. He sent Mike some money to buy a bunch of the tobacco he likes and the two of them are delivering it to him. Michael hasn’t seen him for several years and I think the three of them will enjoy getting together for lunch. I was invited, but between the LtoL meeting and the fact that a female would only be intruding (my thought, not theirs), they are going without me.

We’re looking at a 78% chance of rain today. Good thing I have an umbrella. The high is predicted to be 58. Starting Tuesday, we have overnight temps below freezing for at least a week with highs in the low 50’s.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

A pleasantly quiet day today. We still have some clouds, but the sun is working hard to chase them away. It was a cold 18 early this morning and it has now warmed up 41.

I will be leaving shortly for our monthly B.A.S.I.C.S. diner at church. Our guests will be leading us in some good old fashioned gospel singing. I’m excited!

May you all enjoy a blessed day.

    Happy Sunday Vagabonds

I saw on the T-mometer 18 degrees, the weather app says cloudy, to dark to tell right now. High today 26 and becoming partly cloudy and nothing coming down. (^.^)

Another fine Sunday on hand, good word at church, good meal of fish and an afternoon of TV. Well, two out of three ain’t bad.

All you good Vagabonds have a wonerful day and may God bless.

Happy Lord’s Day Morning, Village! Little bit warmer today. It’s been in the 30s nearly every morning this week, but today I woke up to a brisk 48! Supposed to get up to 70 this afternoon! Good day for church!

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

We had a great message covering Matthew 16 today. Tim makes it come alive.

Yesterday’s meeting was a lot of fun. Besides the potluck and the “organization” meeting for this coming year, we also played a couple of fun, silly games. All in all a good day.

M&M met up with Mike’s friend, Kevin yesterday at Primm. I was wrong about the female presence. Kevin brought his wife and son with him. They didn’t get a chance to have lunch though. One place was closed and the other had a huge long line. It was raining pretty hard and Kevin didn’t want to wait. It did give Michael & Mike a chance to visit together one-to-one which they don’t often have the opportunity to do. They enjoyed it.

We’re looking for 56 today and it’s already 53 at 11 AM, so I have no doubt we’ll get there. We did have rain yesterday, though not nearly as hard or as long as in Primm and south into California. Poor Kevin was driving in what he called a wall of water most of the way to Nevada.

    Everyone have a blessed Sunday.
